Frank N. Abramo



   Frank Abramo, a lifelong resident of Malden, passed away in his home on Sunday, Oct 13th, 2019, after a lengthy illness. Frank was born in Malden Hospital in 1940, the son of Francis and Catherine Abramo.

   He was raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School the Class of 1958. He soon enlisted in the US Army and served his country proudly. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Malden and opened his flower shop, Floral Designs by Mr. Frank. He ran the business for 40 years until his retirement 20 years ago.

   In 1967, Frank married his sweetheart, Carol M. Russo in St. Joseph’s Church in Malden. They moved to Everett for a very short time before settling down in Malden to raise their family. They shared 52 years of loving marriage together.

   In years past, Frank enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Lions Club in Malden and the Moose Lodge in Malden. His greatest joy though, was spending time with his family and his beloved wife.

   He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol M. Abramo, his sons, of Frank P. Abramo of Andover and Michael A. Abramo of Milford, his grandchildren, Michael, Alexander, and Melina, his daughter- in-law Maria Abramo, and is faithful dog Buddy.

   Franks funeral will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Saturday, October 19th, at 9:00AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church, Malden, at 10AM.

   Interment to follow with military honors in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 18th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
