Angrisano

Michael B. “Ben” Angrisano, died suddenly on Monday evening, August 25, 2008, he was 49. Mike was born in Malden
on November 9, 1958, he was the son of the late Constantino N. “Andy” Angrisano
(Who just passed away on August 14, 2008) & Jeanette (Pellegrino) Angrisano (
Who passed away on December 8, 2007) both formerly of Malden.
Mike
was raised and educated in Malden and was a graduate of Malden Catholic High
School Class of 1976. Mike met and later married his sweetheart Karen M.
Prendergast. The couple was married on August 7, 1982 in St. Joseph’s Church, in
Malden, later moving to Saugus where they raised their two sons, Michael &
James Angrisano.
Mike was a member of the Carpenter’s Union, Local # 218, working out of the
Medford shop. He had been employed by numerous construction companies on
different jobs in the North Shore area for the last twenty years.
Ben as his friends and family called him, was an avid golfer and enjoyed
his Tuesday night golf league time. He was also an avid Boston sports fan and
enjoyed watching the Pats and other football teams. He enjoyed spending time
with his loving family and his favorite cat, Barnum. He was a real home body and
enjoyed working around his home. He took pleasure in working on a recent
charity drive before his dad passed on, for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He was proud of his charity work and mentioned this too many of his family and
friends. Mike was a longtime member of the Loyal Order of Moose of Malden.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen M. (Prendergast) Angrisano of Saugus,
his loving sons Michael J. Angrisano & James D. Angrisano both of Saugus,
his cherished sisters Andrea J. Cox and her husband William of Andover,
Paula M. Bazlen of Richmond, VA, and Nancy J. Adrian and her husband Alex of
Boxford.
He was preceded in death by
his brother, Mark A. Angrisano formerly of Malden.
Mike’s funeral will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144
Salem St., Malden, on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 10:45 AM, followed by a Mass
of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church, 770 Salem St., Malden at 12 Noon.
Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
Visitation will be held in the
Weir –Mac Cuish Funeral Home on Thursday, August. 28, 2008 from 4 to
8 PM.
