Sally Ann Eason

 

     Sally A. Eason of Plaistow, NH, formerly a long-time resident of Malden, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill, she was 61.  Born on September 9, 1946 in Malden, Sally was the daughter of John H. and Hazel E. (Ring) Eason.  Sally was raised and educated in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School.  She worked for many years at Jordan Marsh as the store’s sales manager.  After she left Jordan Marsh, Sally worked for a few years for the Reebok Co. She worked various jobs after leaving Reebok before finally retiring in 2004.  Sally was a member of the Rainbows in Malden as a teenager.  She was formerly an active member of the previous Christ United Methodist Church in Malden.  Sally also enjoyed arts and crafts.   Miss Eason lived in Plaistow, for the past few years but was previously lived her entire life as a Malden resident. 

     Sally is survived by her sister Nancy J. Wood and her husband, Robert A. Wood, Sr. of Plaistow, NH, her nieces and nephews, Robert A. Wood, Jr. of Nahant, Sarah L. Leavitt of Bennington, NH, Alisa M. Place of Sutton, and John R. Wood of Plaistow, NH, and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jeremy Yeoman, David Place, Jr., Morgan Vega, and Brandon Wood.

     Funeral services will be held in the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 12 Noon.  Rev. Ruth R. Oduor, Pastor of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Malden will be officiating.  Burial will follow in the Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.

Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 4 to 8 PM.
