Adele Rose
Picardi
Adele Rose Picardi, 66, a lifelong resident of Malden, died
Monday, April 4, 2011 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose,
with her loving family by her side. Adele was born in Boston in
1944, the daughter of Patsy and Rose Tedesco. She grew up in
Malden, and graduated from Malden High School with the Class of
1962. In 1966, she married her sweetheart, Richard Picardi,
at
St. Josephs Church in Malden. They settled down together in
Malden to raise their family. Aside from raising her children
and caring for her grandchildren, Adele worked at the Maplewood
Baptist Church in Malden as a secretary for over 24 years. She
collected Normal Rockwell figurines, as well as Anna Lee Dolls.
She also really enjoyed cooking, but her she got the most
enjoyment from being with her grandchildren.
She is
survived by her husband Richard C. Picardi, her mother,. Mary
“Rose”Tedesco of Malden, her children, Rosemarie Connolly of
Peabody, Julie A. Picardi of Peabody, MA, and Rick C. Picardi
of Saugus, her grandchildren, , Kayla, Nicholas, Madison Jacob,
Jackson, and Emma and her brother, Michael Tedesco of
California.Adele was preceded in death by her father Pasquale

Funeral
services will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral
Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Friday, April 8th,
at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s
Church, 770 Salem St, Malden, at 10AM. Interment to follow in
Holy Cross Cemetery. Malden. Visitation will be at Weir -
MacCuish Funeral Home on Thursday, April 7th, from
4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
