Miss Louise A. Planchet, age 100, of Malden and formerly of Lynn, died Wednesday, April 27th, at Aberjona Nursing Center after a long and loving life.

Born in Lynn on January 21, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Constant P. and Jeannette (Boisvert) Planchet. She graduated from Everett High School.

Louise was a bookkeeper for the World Peace Foundation, Boston, for over 15 years. She was a former member of the Sodality at St. Joseph’s Church Everett. She was also a member of the French Library in Boston.

Surviving relatives include nieces Susan Hasenfuss of Malden and Pat Adams of Stoneham, nephews Paul Hasenfuss of Merrimack, NH and Richard Planchet of Framingham, and many grand nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Paul Planchet, Jeanne Hasenfuss, and Marie Planchet.

Her Funeral will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Wednesday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Hearts Church, 315 Main Street, Malden at 10:00 AM. Burial will immediately follow in St. Jean’s Cemetery, Lynn. Visitation Wednesday morning 8AM to 9:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Aberjona Nursing Center Activities Dept., 184 Swanton Street, Winchester, MA 01890 or to a charity of your choice.
