Jeannette Yvonne Raineri
She is survived by her daughters, Giovanna E. Raineri of Stoughton, Carol Ann M. Raineri-Bobnis of Malden, Theresa F. Raineri of Malden, and Kathy Ann M. Raineri of Malden, her very dear niece, Yvonne M. Venuti of Reading, her son-in-law David Lewin, her brothers, Wilfred Levesque of Lawrence and Roger Levesque of Salem, NH, and her sister, Theresa Turner of Tompkinsville, Ky. She is also survived by her grandchildren, William Newcomb, Kimberly Mooney, Michele Accolla, Korin Garcia, and Francesca Raineri, and her great grandchildren, Tyler Accolla, Alexander Garcia, Trianna Accolla, Morgan Mooney, and Jake Mooney. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur G. Raineri, her parents, Alec Levesque and Yvonne (Turgeon) Levesque Croteau her children, Richard J. and Arthur F., her sister, Laurette Levesque, and her brothers, Roland and Albert Levesque, and her grandson, John Bobnis. Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM Funeral from the Weir MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden at 10 AM. Fr. Daniel J. Hickey, Pastor of Sacred Hearts Church will be presiding. Burial will be in the St. Michael Cemetery in Roslindale.
Raineri (Levesque), Jeannette Y. Oct 8th, of Malden, formerly of the N.End of Boston, passed away suddenly. Has joined her husband Arthur of 52 years, her sons Richard and Arthur Raineri, and grandson John Bobnis. She is the devoted mother of Giovanna Raineri of Stoughton, Carol Ann Bobnis of Malden, Theresa F. Raineri of Malden, Kathy Ann M. Raineri of Malden, loving aunt of Yvonne M. Venuti of Reading, and mother-in-law of David Lewin. Cherished sister of Wilfred Levesque of Lawrence, Roger Levesque of Salem, NH, and Theresa Turner of KY, and the late Laurette, Roland and Albert Levesque. Also survived by her grandchildren, William Newcomb, Kimberly Mooney, Michele Accolla, Korin Garcia, and Francesca Raineri, and her great grandchildren, Tyler Accolla, Alexander Garcia, Trianna Accolla, Morgan Mooney, and Jake Mooney. Other than family, her passion was BINGO. Funeral from the Weir~Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. MALDEN on Wed, Oct 15th at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main St. Malden at 10 AM. Jeannette Yvonne Raineri, 80, a longtime resident of Malden,
died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Melrose-Wakefield
Hospital in Melrose, MA. Jeannette was born on January 29, 1928
in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late Alec Levesque and Yvonne (Turgeon)
Levesque Croteau. It was in Lawrence where she was raised and attended St.
Ann's School. When her sweetheart Arthur returned from the war,
the two were married and quickly settled in Boston's North End, expecting to stay only a short time. The two began
raising their family there, while Arthur worked as a firefighter
in Boston. Jeannette and Arthur had six children together and in 1978, they
relocated to Malden, where they remained together until Arthur’s
passing in 1999. The two had shared over 52 years together.
Although Jeannette did enjoy her Bingo nights and the occasional
trip to Foxwoods, truly her greatest source of joy was her
family.
