Robert L. Spinney Jr.
February 1, 1957 - August 17, 2010 Age 53 years
Robert L. Spinney Jr., passed on Tuesday evening, August 17, 2010 at Walden Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Concord, MA, after a long illness, he was 53. Robert was born and raised in Malden. He was educated in the Malden school system and graduated from Malden High School Class of 1975. Bobby worked as an independent contractor providing handyman services in the Boston area. In his spare time he enjoyed a good hockey game as well as the other Boston sports teams. Every day he enjoyed reading the New York Post, Boston Herald and Boston Globe and was considered a history buff. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and going to the track. Robert had been living in Somerville for the last nine years and was formerly of Malden. Bobby was the loving son of Robert L. Spinney, Sr. of Malden and his late wife Thelma (Evers) Spinney. Bobby was the loving soul mate of Darnell Pellecchia of Somerville. He was the loving brother of Wayne G. Spinney and his wife, Brenda of Melrose, Joanne M. Spinney of Malden, Mark H. Spinney and his wife, Candace, of TX and Thelma L. Spinney of Saugus. Loving uncle of several nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are welcome to visiting hours at the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
