Georgia was also employed with the Lewis Candy Factory in Malden as a candy maker and she also worked sewing military patches and stripes on military uniforms during the war.

Georgia was at the family business for over fifty years.

In her spare time Georgia enjoyed her time spent with her husband and friends wintering in St. Petersburg, Florida. She enjoyed crocheting,  knitting and loved a good bingo game at St. Josephs Hall or Malden Catholic School. She enjoyed her time as a volunteer with the Bread of Life here in Malden.
