William James Sullivan

 

     William J. Sullivan, of Malden, died suddenly on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, he was 40.  Born on May 12, 1968 in Boston, Bill was the son of Michael J. and the late Christine M. (Gould) Sullivan.  Bill was raised and Malden and was a graduate of Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational School, Class of 1986.  Bill worked many years as a security guard and was currently employed with Allied Barton Security Services, stationed on the campus of Harvard University.  In January, Bill became a member of the Masonic Lodge, Sterling A.F. & A.M. of Malden.

     Bill is survived by his children, Michael T. Sullivan of Raymond, NH and Noel Sullivan of Franklin, VT, his father, Michael J. Sullivan, Sr. of Malden, his siblings, Michael J. Sullivan, Jr. of Brentwood, NH, Sharon Davis of Arkansas, and Barbarann Souza of Medford, and his grandson, Lucas Thompson of Franklin, VT.

     Funeral from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 8:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10 AM.  Burial will follow in the Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.

Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 4 to 8 PM.
