Rose Testa
Rose (Giusto) Testa, 94, a retired upholstery stitcher for State Upholstery Co.
of Boston, where she worked for 25 years, died Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the
Rosewood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Peabody. She was born
and educated in the North End of Boston; and was the daughter of the late Rocco
and Fillipa (Palascina) Giusto.
Rose had been a longtime member of the St. Anthony's Senior Citizens Group of
Revere; Malden Senior Citizens and the Torigian Community Senior
Center, Peabody. She loved playing the organ at all the different centers for everyone to enjoy. She loved sewing, crocheting and doing hand stitching. She had been a resident of Malden for over 53
years.
She was preceded in
death by her first husband John Rosa, her siblings, Vincenza Delfino,
Salvatore Giusto, Josephine Stelmack, Joseph Giusto and Lucy Saraceni.
Rose was the loving aunt of
many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held in the
Weir -MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home on Sunday, April 5th., 2009
from 4-8 PM
Funeral will be held from the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144
Salem St., Malden, on Monday, April 6, 2009 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of
Christian Burial in St. Josephs Church, 770 Salem St., Malden at 10 AM.
Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden..
