Patricia Lee (Carrico)
Thomson, 48, a longtime resident of Malden who had recently
moved to Saugus, died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Sawtelle
Family Hospice House in Reading, Massachusetts. Patty was
born in Malden, in 1962, the daughter of Chester L. and Ann
V. (Burns) Carrico. She was raised in Malden, and while growing
up she attended the Cheverus School and Malden High School.
After high school, she went to work for the Mass Council for
Human Resource Provider's Council. She worked there as an office
manager for nearly 10 years until a disability forced her early
retirement. Patty enjoyed music and crafts, and loved her
cat. She was also an active "Friend of Bill"
She is
survived by her son Justin B. and his wife Jennifer Maggs of
Nashua, NH, her step-son, Patrick Kelley of Medford, her
sisters, Katherine M. Brennan of Quincy and Linda A. Young
of Malden, her granddaughter Kailee, her former husband Edward
Thomson of Malden, as well as many Aunts, uncles, nieces, and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and
Ann V. (Burns) Carrico; and her son Richard J. Maggs II
Funeral
services will be held Tuesday, Oct 5th, at 11:00 AM
at the Weir – MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem
Street, Malden, MA. Burial will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery
in Malden.
Visitation
will be held at the Weir - MacCuish Funeral Home on Monday, Oct
4th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
