Marie A. Acquaviva, 82, died Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA. Marie was born in Everett and educated in the Malden School system graduating with the Class of 1940. Mrs. Acquaviva was a communicant of St. Joseph's Parish and a member of the Women's Guild. Marie enjoyed making ceramics, was a great cook and a loving mother, she truly enjoyed caring for her family. Marie had been a resident of Malden for the last thirty-six years and was formerly of the North End of Boston.

She is survived by her son Mark J. Acquaviva of Malden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Savino J. Acquaviva, her parents, Domenic and Margaret (Tosti) Lombardi, her son Joseph J. Acquaviva, her sister Jeanette Schena, and her brother Mark Lombardi.


Visitation will be held at the Weir- MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on Friday December 17th from 10 - 11:00 AM

Funeral service will be held Friday, December 17, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Weir MacCuish Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard T. Bakker of St. Joseph's Church will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.
