Joseph Augustin
Joseph Augustin, 70, an independent mechanic, died Tuesday,
March 27, 2001 at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. Joseph was
born and raised in Haiti. He completed high school there and
went on to trade school to be a carpenter. He worked as a
carpenter in Haiti for about 20 years, before changing fields
and becoming a mechanic. He came to the US and continued his
profession as a mechanic, working independantly in the Malden
area. He was a long tme member of the Open Door Tabernacle
Church in Malden.
He is survived by his wife Aglayer, his daughter Veronique
Augustin of Brocton, his son L. Jack Augustin of Malden, his
daughters Mary Albert-Augustin of Brocton, Elsye Luc of Malden,
Josette Augustin of Malden, Kettly Augustin of Canada, and his
sisters Jennette Valcourt of Haiti, Maryse Valcourt of Haiti.
He was preceded in death by his father Lozamar Augustin, and his
mother Lenora Laurent.
Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home on Friday
from 7-9 PM
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 31, 2001 at 10:00
A.M. at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home. Rev. Edmond Raphino of Open
Door Tabernacle will be officiating. Burial will be in the Holy
Cross Cemetery in Malden.
