Hazel May Baker
Hazel May Baker, 93, a retired secretary for Gilmore-Rothery Ins
CO, where she worked for years, until her retirement in 1972,
died Wednesday, December 13, 2000 at Melrose Nursing and Rehab
Center in Melrose, Massachusetts. Hazel was born and Educated in
Medford, graduatining form Medford High School. After High
School, she moved to Malden where she resided re the rest of her
life. She was a member of the Centre United Methodist Church,
and she was active within the Church groups there. Miss Baker
lived in Malden, Massachusetts for most of he life.
She is survived by many loveing nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Albert Baker, her mother
Mabel Cole, her brothers Albert Baker, Arthur Baker, Clifford
Baker, Warren Baker, her sisters Villa Appel, Georgia Baker, and
Helen Wood.
She was born November 02, 1907 in Medford, Massachusetts the
daughter of Albert and Mabel (Cole) Baker.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 18, 2000 at 10:00
A.M. at Weir - Mac Cuish Funeral Home. Rev. John C. Blair of
Centre United Methodist Church will be officiating. Burial will
be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
