William Barratt
William Barratt, 75, of Malden, MA, died Thursday at Melrose
Wakefield Hospital, Melrose, MA. William was born in Boston. He
was raised and educated in Malden. After completing High School,
He enlisted in the Navy, and Served during WWII. After his
discharge, he worked for a short time for the Mystic Valley Gas
Co., reading meters. He was soon appointed to the Malden Fire
Dept.,where he worked from Jan 25, 1948, until his retirment in
1978, retireing as the Deputy Chief. He also owned and opperated
Vanguard of Eastern Mass Fire Alarm Co. for 25 years. He was a
member of the North Shore Assembly of God where he also served
as a member of the Board of Trusties. His funeral will be at
North Shore Assembly of God 08/02/1999 10:00 AM with Pastor
Steve Anton officiating. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery,
Melrose. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., and
7:00 to 9:00 PM Sunday at Weir Funeral Home.

God ,77 Kennedy Drive Malden, MA 02148.

Malden, MA, Daughter, Geraldine F. Mini of Malden, Son, William
J. Barratt of Malden, Son, Robert F. Barratt of Springfield, MO,
Sister, Edna Olson of NH, Sister, Anna Franklin of VT, Sister,
Jean Boucher of Malden, Sister, Phyllis Donato(deceased)
formerly of Wakefield, Sister, Stella Patnode(deceased) formerly
ofof NH, Sister, Constance Maguire (deceased) formerly of
Malden, Brother, Edward Barratt(deceased) formerly of Malden,
Brother, Charles Barratt (deceased) formerly of Malden. Also
survided by 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, .
