Lucy Bossardt
Lucy Bossardt, 93, a longtime resident of Malden, died Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center next to Malden Hospital. Lucy was born and raised in Chelsea. After high school, she entered the Registered Nurse training program at Chelsea Memorial Hospital. She worked in the nursing field for many years, becoming the director of nursing at the Malden and Forest Dale Nursing Homes. Lucy retired in 1976. She is
survived by her son, Richard Bossardt of Malden, her
daughter, Audrey L. Kearney of Marcellus, NY.,
her brother, Hubert Bower of Westboro Ma. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard W. Bossardt Sr., her parents, William H. and Rose E.( Smith) Bower, and her brothers, Ernest , Raymond and William Bower.. A memorial service will be held for Lucy on Saturday, July 14th, at 11 am, with period of visitation one hour prior. Burial will immediately follow in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. |
