Dorothy Edna Carusone
Dorothy E. Carusone, 76, a retired accountant for Malden
Hospital, where she had worked for 19 years, died Thursday,
January 18, 2001 at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in
Medford, MA Mrs. Carusone lived in Medford, MA for the last 18
years and was previously from Malden were she resided for the
last 58 years. She retired from the Accounting Department at the
hospital in 1989. Mrs. Carusone was educated in the Sacred
Hearts School system and graduated from the Chevrus High School
Malden.
She is survived by her husband John A. Carusone of Medford,. Her
two daughters Gail M. Carusone of Malden and Janice M. Carusone
of Newton, her grandson Loren J. Carusone-Wein of Newton. She
was the aunt of Charles Sarno & Francine Byrne of Alameda, CA,
Lynn & Donald Stead of Stoneham. Great Aunt of Kristin Stead of
NY & Nicholas Stead of Stoneham.
She was preceded in death by her father Charles Seifert, her
mother Anna LaValle, and her sister Anna Sarno.
She was born June 2, 1924 in Malden, MA the daughter of late
Charles and Anna (LaValle) Seifert.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home on Sunday
from 2-4 and 7-9 PM
In lieu of flowers contributions in Dorothy's memory maybe made
to the Salvation Army, 213 Main St., Malden, MA 02148.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Francis E.
Sullivan in the Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main St., Malden, on
Monday, January 22nd. at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Puritan
Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
