Mary Elizabeth Casey Mary Elizabeth Casey, 76, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away on Wednesday, July 5th. Mary was born and raised in Everett. She graduated Everett High School with the Class of 1947. She and her husband Thomas J. Casey had moved to Revere for a short time before settling in Malden in the late 60's to raise their family. She was a dedicated member of St. Joseph's Parish in Malden, and member of the Women's Club within the Church. Mrs. Casey lived in Malden, Massachusetts for nearly 40 years, and was previously from Revere and Everett. She is survived by her husband Thomas J. of Malden, her daughters, Nancy Menard of Malden, Doreen E. McAdams Merrimack, NH, and Mary Beth Leon of Malden, her son, Thomas G. Casey of Westford, her sisters, Catherine "Mickey" Sousa of N. Brookfield and Joan Claire Griffin - Hall of Malden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Katherine (O’Loughlin) Griffin, and her step mother, Elizabeth R. Griffin, her son Joseph Casey, her brother Joseph H. Griffin Jr. and her sister, Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM Funeral from the Weir – MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Monday, July 10th, at 9 AM, for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden, at 10AM. Rev. William J. Minigan, Pastor of St. Joseph's Church will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
