    Kathryn (Jennings) D’Entremont of Malden, died on March 11, 2007 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford surrounded by her loving family, she was 85.  Born on April 27, 1921 in Somerville, MA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Ellen F. (Monahan) Jennings. 

    Kathryn was raised and educated in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School.  She was the youngest of nine children, and is survived by her sister, Sr. Neri Jennings, CSJ of Framingham.  Kathryn was a devout Catholic and an active member of the Sacred Hearts Parish in Malden. Kathryn married her sweetheart, the late Charles A. D’Entremont on May 31, 1939 and devoted herself to her family.

   She was the loving mother to her fourteen children, Carol Ann and the late Edward Memmolo of Malden, Mary Ellen and Robert Campos of Union City, CA, Kathryn Patricia and Albert Perry of Everett, Charles Francis and Phyllis D’Entremont of Malden, Joseph Paul and Margaret D’Entremont of Phoenix, MD, Suanne Marie (D’Entremont-McCarthy) and Norman Lombardi of Revere, William Leo and Kathleen D’Entremont of Londonderry, NH, Diane and Salvatore LaFauci of Salem, NH, formerly of Malden, Denise (D’Entremont-Mercurio) and Gary Eubanks of Kingston, NH, John Stephen and Susan D’Entremont of Madbury, NH, Stephen Gerrard D’Entremont of Malden, Martina (D’Entremont-Dell’Orfano) and Craig VerPault of Riverview, FL, Kevin Owen and Elizabeth D’Entremont of Malden and Michael Thomas and Sheila D’Entremont of Hudson, NH.  Kathryn was the cherished “Nana” to forty-two grandchildren; and over sixty-five great grandchildren. Kathryn is survived by her sister, Sr. Neri Jennings, CSJ of Bethany Hill, Framingham and the late Leo, Thomas, Francis, John and Martina Jennings, Rose Halleran and Helen Steeves.  Kathryn will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

   Funeral from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden, on Wed., March 14th at 8:45AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 315 Main St., Malden, at 10AM. Burial will immediately follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

   Visitation will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kathryn’s memory to the Bread of Life, 511 Main Street, Malden, MA 02148.
