Marion Denise Fowler  

Marion Denise Fowler, 44, a  Crossing Guard for City of Malden for the last  8 years, died  suddenly Friday, May 25, 2001 at her home in Malden, MA  Marion was a Crossing Guard  at the intersection of Mountain Ave. & Main St.,  then was moved  to  Rockwell & Salem St.  She  was a life long resident, and  was educated in the Malden School system, graduating with the class of 1975.  At one time Marion worked for the Fiore Bus Service, of Saugus  for 5 years as a bus  monitor. Marion also  worked for the former Wade Buttons Co. of  Malden for 6 years. She was member of the ladies auxiliary with the Malden VFW Post # 639, American Legion Post #69  and the  Malden Aire #893 Fraternal Order of  the Eagles. She was an avid Rex Sox fan and loved  crossing the children.   

She is survived by her son Fredrick G. Hutchins of Malden, and  her parents  George R.  and Shirley  B. (O'Brien)  Fowler of Malden. Her husband Frederic W. Hutchins of Boston.

She was born January 10, 1957 in Malden, MA  the daughter of George and Shirley (O'Brien) Fowler.     

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at 12:00 Noon at  the  Weir MacCuish Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
