James William French

 

James W. French,  43, died suddenly,  Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at his home in Lynn, MA.  Jim was educated in the Chelsea school system and was a graduate of Chelsea High Class of 1979.  He went on to Northeastern University in Boston and received his BA in accounting, graduating with high honors and on the dean's list every year. He worked for the Allied Plywood Co. in Charlestown for three years. He was a natural athlete and enjoyed  playing golf, tennis, baseball and weight lifting. He enjoyed all Boston sports teams and the Oakland Raiders. Mr. French lived in Malden for the last twenty years.

He is survived by his mother Mary L. Strob French of Malden, his brother and sister-in-law, Robert  S. &  Stephanie French of Revere, two nephews  Harrison & Robert French of Revere, two  aunts, and three uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Weir -MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144  Salem St. Malden,  on Sunday from 3-7  PM.

Contributions in Jim’s memory may be made to the Project Hope,  45 Magnolia St.  Dorchester, MA 02125-2714.

Funeral from the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, Malden  on Monday, Oct. 4th. at 9AM followed by a  Mass of Christian Burial  in Our Lady of Grace Church, 194 Nichols St. Chelsea at 10AM.  Fr. James  J. Barry of Our Lady of Grace will be celebrant. Interment will be private.

Funeral from the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral  Home,144  Salem St., MALDEN, on Monday  Oct. 4th. at  9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church, 194 Nichols St., Chelsea at 10AM. Friends and relatives are invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 3-7 PM. Interment will be private.
