Leslie
P. Goss, 81, a retired bus driver
for the former Mass Transit
Authority, of Medford, MA where he had
worked for 21 years, died Monday, December 18, 2000 at the
Lawrence Memorial Hospital
in Medford, MA. Mr.
Goss was born in Everett and educated in the Everett school system. He was a resident of
Malden, MA for over
fifty years.
Leslie
had worked out of
the Salem St. car barn in Medford and
later worked as a master machinist with the International Equipment Co.
of Needham.
He also worked for another
10 years at Touraine Paints in Everett, MA,
until his retirement. Mr.
Goss was a long time member of the Centre United Methodist Church of Malden and
former member of the Sons of St.
George of Malden. Mr Goss was a fifty year member of the Mount Vernon &
Galilean Lodge A.F. & A.M. of
Malden.
He
is survived by his
two daughters, Judith A.
Scotti of
Medford, Althea L.
Santolucito of Malden, one
son, H. Brooks Goss of NJ, and his
brother Alvin Goss of Malden. Also
survived by 4 grandchildren, Toniann L. Snow of
NY, Brook J. Goss of NJ,
Jason & Derek Santolucito both of Malden.
He
was preceded in death by his wife Agnes A. Mullay, his father Joseph Goss, and
his mother Adelade Perry.
He
was born May 3, 1919 in Everett, MA the son of Joseph and Adelade (Perry) Goss.
He served in the U. S. Army
during World War II.
Visitation
will be held at Weir - MacCuish Golden Rule
Funeral Home on Wednesday from from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM
Funeral
service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2000 at 11:00 A.M. in the
funeral home. The Rev. John C. Blair of the
Centre United Methodist Church will be officiating.
Burial will be in the Puritan Lawn Memorial
Park in Peabody.
