Audrey Mae Gould Audrey Mae Gould, 92,
a longtime resident of Melrose, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at
Masconomet Health Care Center in Topsfield, Massachusetts.
Audrey was born & educated in Saint John, New
Brunswick. She moved
from Canada to America in 1945. She was
a member of the First Baptist Church, Malden for many
years. Both Audrey and her husband Elton were very involved in the
church. Audrey worked for the Hudson Bus Lines, in Medford, as a
bookkeeper for 29 years and retired in 1974. Audrey had been a
resident of Melrose for well over 51 years. She is survived by her sister, her sisters Dorothy McMillan and Clara Dean of New Brunswick, Canada, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents,
Lemuel & Bessie (Denton) Hamilton,
her husband, Elton C. Gould,
and her brothers Roy,
Murray, and Kenneth Hamilton, and
her sister Florence
Whipple of N.B. Canada. Funeral services will be held Friday,
July 30th, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
. Rev. Martha A. Dominy of First Baptist Church will be
officiating. Visitation will be held at the Weir – MacCuish
Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, one hour prior
to the service. |
