 Francis Joseph Greeley

Francis Joseph Greeley,  67, died Saturday, August 14, 2004 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA. Frank was born and educated in Somerville. When he completed school he became a truck driver for Teamsters Local # 25 AFL-CIO. He drove for DS Woodberry of Charlestown and a number of other firms for thirty two years, retiring in 1988. He then went to work for the Middlesex County Court in Cambridge as a medical records clerk and was employed there for twelve years before retiring in 2002. He was a member of Teamsters Local # 25 AFL-CIO, the Irish American Club of Malden the Malden Lodge of Elks # 965 and the Malden Organization of Clubs.  Frank has lived in Malden, MA for the past thirty two years and was previously from Somerville.

He is survived by his wife Barbara A. (Bettencourt) Greeley  of Malden, his daughter Lisa Greeley and her husband Richard C. Howard , of Malden, his son,  Gary M. & his wife Deirdre Greeley of Fl, his daughter, Jill G. & her husband, Patrick Sheehan of Millis, his sister, Dorothy West of KS and five grandchildren..

He was preceded in death by his son Mark F. Greeley of Malden.

He was born December 27, 1936 in Somerville, Massachusetts the son of the late Francis J. Greeley and Lillian (Jackson) Utterback.

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Tuesday, August 17th from 4-8 PM

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 10:30 A.M. in the Weir MacCuish Funeral Home with Fr. Daniel J. Hickey Pastor of Sacred Hearts Church officiating.  Burial will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.
