Pamela May Griffin

Pamela May Griffin, 53, an officer manager, died  early Tuesday, August 28, 2001 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA after being stricken with a heart attack at her residence in Malden. Pamela was born in Melrose and educated in Malden Schools, graduating Malden High School with the "Class of 1965". She continued her education graduating from the Malden Business School after which she went to work as a clerk, in the probation office, at the Malden District Court House. She was employed there for thirty-five years and was currently the office manager of the probation department at the courthouse. She was a member of the Centre United Methodist Church of Malden and The New England & Essex County Genealogy Societies.  Mrs. Griffin was a lifelong resident of Malden, MA.

She is survived by her son, John C. Griffin of Malden, her brother Richard A. Berry of SC, and her beloved aunt, Margaret L. Burt of Malden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin E. Griffin, Jr.,  of Malden.

She was born March 22, 1948 in Melrose, Massachusetts the daughter of the late John S. and Esther E. (Messervey) Berry, formerly of Malden.

Visitation will be held at the Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. , Malden on Thursday from 4-8 P.M.

Private Graveside Funeral Services will be held at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, West Peabody on Friday, August 31, 2001
