William Grifone

William Grifone,  61, of Malden, died Monday, June 17, 2002 at the New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. William was born and educated in Boston and when he completed his education he went to work as a laborer in the construction industry for several years. He then became a truck driver for Boston Sand and Gravel Co.  where he has been employed for over thirty eight years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Malden and Teamsters Local #379 AFL/CIO of Boston.  Mr. Grifone lived in Malden, MA for over thirty years and was previously from East Boston .

He is survived by his wife Lucille H. "Lu"(Bolster) Grifone of Malden, MA, his mother, Madeline (Ennis) Grifone of East Boston, his son, William Grifone, Jr. of Malden, his son, Kenneth and his wife Pam Grifone of E. Boston, his son, John and his wife Katie Lewis of Brocton, his son, James Olson of Haverhil, his brother, James Grifone of Everett,  his sister, Linda Liebl of FL and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Carlo Grifone, and his brother Carl Grifone formerly of E. Boston.

He was born November 15, 1940 in Boston, Massachusetts the son of Carlo and Madeline (Ennis) Grifone.

Visitation will be held at the Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden,  MA on Thursday June 20th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM

A Mass of Christian Burial be held Friday, June 21, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 297 Main St. Malden with the Rev. Daniel J. Hickey, Pastor of Sacred Heart Church officiating.  Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Everett.
