Adelia Guglielmi
Adelia Guglielmi, 93, died April 17, 2005 at the Dexter House Nursing Home in Malden, MA. Adelia was born and educated in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Italy, and was the daughter of the late Francesco and Graziella DiMascio. After Adelia completed school, she married her husband, Attilio Guglielmi of 73 years. The couple moved to the U.S. over 50 years ago and residing in Dorchester, Norwood, and Florida before finally settling in Malden 20 years ago. Adelia was a member of Sacred Hearts Church in Malden, MA She is survived by her nephews, Sam S. Checca of Malden, Pietro Checca of Italy, Angelo Checca of Italy, and Francis Williams of FL, and her niece, Carol Williams of CA and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. MALDEN on Tuesday, April 19th from 2-4 PM. Funeral from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 20th at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main St. Malden at 10 AM with Fr. Daniel J.
