Dorothy Katherine Harriman

Dorothy K. Harriman, 92, a housewife, died Thursday, May 24, 2001 at Hammersmith Nursing Care Center in Saugus, MA   Mrs. Harriman was born and educated in the Malden.  Graduating with the class of 1924.  She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Malden for over 62 years, and a member of St Ann's Guild.  She served as a Girl Scout Leader at the Maplewood School for many years. She was a lifelong resident of Malden. She had resided in Saugus for the last 8 years.

She is survived by her son David R. Harriman of FL, two daughters, Linda Snowdon of Wolfeboro, NH, and Lorraine E. Holley of Newport, RI  her sister, Katherine Ferguson of FL  and her brother Ernest Roblee of  NY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert A. Harriman, her brothers Chester, Harry and Roy  Roblee, and her sister Frances Belyea.

Visitation will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-7 PM

In lieu of flowers contributions in Dorothy's memory maybe made to the Alzheimer's Association, 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, MA  02140-1102 or St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 26 Washington St., Malden 02148. 

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 30th. at 11:00 A.M. at  St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 26 Washington St. Malden.  Fr. J.C. Woods will be the celebrant.  Burial will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.
