Marilyn June Hatch  

Marilyn June (Ray)  Hatch,  73, a  housewife, died Wednesday, July 31, 2002 at the Annemark Nursing Home,  Revere, MA  after a long illness.  Marilyn was born in  Dodge City, Kansas and  as a teenager along with her family moved  to Melrose, MA   She  attended the Melrose school system and  was a graduate of Melrose High School Class of 1942.  She married  Robert L. Hatch, in Melrose  on June 30, 1944 and  were happily married for 58 years.  They later moved  to North  Reading  and resided  there with her family  for 12 years before settling in Medford for the last 39 years.

She is survived by her husband, Robert L.  Hatch of Medford. Her daughter's  Roberta  A. Robdau of Billerica, Sandra   L. Belmonte of Medford, Linda  M. Marcellino  of  FL and  Cynthia  J. Hatch  of Brookline. Her sister  Martha Linzenski of OH and her brother William Ray of  NY. Loving grandmother of  six grandchildren  and two great-grandchildren.

She was born November 5, 1928 in Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of the late  Elza and Alma (Cramer) Ray. 

Visitation will be held at Weir- MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street Malden, on Friday evening August 2nd.  from 7-9 PM.

Funeral  from the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Saturday, August 3rd.  at 9:30 AM,  followed by  Graveside Services at the  Spring Grove Cemetery, Abbott St.,  Andover at 11AM. Friends and relatives are welcome to attend.
