Dennis Lawrence Holbrook Dennis L. Holbrook, 60, a longtime resident of Everett, died Thursday, November 23, 2006 at the Peabody Glen Nursing Home in Peabody. Dennis was born in1946, the son of William and Connie (Congamela) Holbrook, Jr. He was raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1967. Immediately out of high school, Dennis began working for the post office. He worked for the Post Office located in Suffolk Sq. He retired as the group leader of the maintenance department. Dennis was also an avid collector of stamps and coins. He is survived by his wife, Elaine J. (Moreschi) Holbrook of Everett, his children, William M.D. Holbrook of Everett, and Victoria K.R. Holbrook of Everett, his brothers, Robert and his wife Ruth Holbrook of Wilmington and Vincent and his wife Carol Ann Holbrook of Stoneham, his sister, Janet Holbrook of Walpole, and his aunt Millie Yon of Malden. Visiting hours for Dennis will be held at the Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Sunday, November 26th from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will be held from the Weir- MacCuish Golden Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street Malden on Monday, November 25th at 9AM for a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden, at 10AM. Father Daniel Hickey, Pastor of Sacred Hearts Church, will be the celebrant. Interment to follow in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. |
