Madelyn Virginia Hoyt
Madelyn V. Hoyt, 84,
died Sunday evening, January 18, 2004 at the Mc Fadden Memorial Manor in Malden,
MA. Madelyn was born in
Malden and educated in the Malden School system and was a lifelong member of the
First Baptist Church in Malden. She was
the music librarian for the
sanctuary choir and a alto at the church for thirty-four years. She was also a
member of the Eastern Star Chapter
# 99 of Malden. Madelyn worked as a
riveter, working for the war effort during World War II
and later work as a
machinist at the former National Radio in Melrose. She worked for many years as
a home health aid in the Malden area. Miss
Hoyt was a life long resident of Malden.
She was born August 24, 1919 in Malden, MA,
the daughter of the late Ashley M. and
May P. (Berger) Hoyt.
Visitation will be held at Weir -MacCuish Golden Rule
Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, one
hour prior to the service. Funeral
service will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral
home. The Rev. Martha A. Dominy of First Baptist Church will be officiating.
Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
