Edna Mae Jeskey
Edna Mae Jeskey, 86,
a proof reader for Globe Ticket
Company, where she worked for years,
died Monday, September 09, 2002 at the On Broadway Nursing and Rehab Center in Chelsea.
Edna was born in and raised in E. Boston, graduating from the E. Boston
School system. After high school,
she moved to Quincy for a while, before settling in Malden over 25 years ago.
She was a long time member of St. Joseph's Church in Malden. Edna worked as a proof reader for the Globe Ticket Company
in Boston, which has since moved to Woburn, for over 10 years.
Her greatest love was her family, to which she was truly devoted. Mrs. Jeskey lived in Malden, MA for 27 years
and was previously from Quincy and E. Boston.
She is survived by her daughters Patricia
M. Jeskey of Malden, and Kathleen T. Jeskey
of Malden, her brother Charles Payne of Chelsea, her sisters Irene
O'Brien of Lynn, and Norma Knox
of Greenfield, and her grandson Bruce Earle and his wife Nancy of
Westwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony
J. Jeskey, her parents Charles
and Mary (Conneeley) Payne, her
brother Frederick Payne, and her sister Catherine DeRota.
Funeral services will be held Wed, Sept 11th, at
10:00 AM, Rev. William J. Minigan,
Pastor of St. Joseph's Church will be officiating. The funeral procession will
form at the Weir Funeral Home at 9:00 AM. Entombment will follow in
the Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden.
