Victoria
Irene Haley, 83, a
retired proprietor for Beacon Hill Seafood, where she worked for
35 years, died Sunday, September 24, 2000 at Kenoza Manor Nursing
Home in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
Victoria was born and raised in Boston.
After High School, she enrolled at Boston College where she
earned her degree. She
and her husband George owned and managed the Beacon Hlll Seafood
store on Charles St. in Boston.
She continued on there until her retirement eleven years
ago. Mrs. Haley lived
in Malden, Massachusetts for 28 years and was previously from
Somerville.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia A. Vieira
of Melrose, and her son George F. Haley
of Haverhill.
She was preceded in death by her husband
George, her father, Nicholas Elliot, and her mother, Irene Pomoni,
Daughter Dorothy E. Iannino, Son Dennis F. Haley ,Brother George
Eliot ,Sister Esmirelda Gill.
She was born March 17, 1917 in Boston, Massachusetts the daughter
of Nicholas and Irene (Pomoni) Elliot.
Visitation
will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home on Wednesday from 8:00
to 10:00 AM
Funeral
services will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2000 at 11:00 A.M.
at St. Thomas the Apostle. Fr. Bartley of St. Thomas the Apostle
will be officiating. Burial
will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
