 Josephine Adeline Greenberg

Josephine A. (Williamson) Greenberg,  87, died Wednesday July 30, 2003 at the Hunt Nursing &  Retirement Home in Danvers, MA  Josephine was born in Stoneham and educated in Malden schools. She had been a lifelong resident of Malden. She was a long time member of the Maplewood Baptist Church of Malden, the Malden Garden Club and the Melrose Chapter #14 of the Order of  the Eastern Star. She was a former cafeteria worker at the Forest Dale Elementary School.  

She is survived by her children Carl F. Greenberg of  NH, Marjorie L. Braese and Ralph A. Greenberg both of  Ipswich  and Chester A. Greenberg of  Malden. Also survived by   thirteen grandchildren  and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer F. Greenberg, her father Otis R. Williamson, her mother Bessie L. Perry, her brother's  Otis, Ernest and Ralph  Williamson, her sister's Ruth Rouillard,  Marion Campbell and  Elmira MacCuish.

She was born November 3, 1915 in Stoneham, MA  the daughter of the late Otis and Bessie (Perry) Williamson.     

Visiting hours  in the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9.

Contributions in  Josephine's memory may be made to the Maplewood Baptist Church, Memorial Fund, 729  Salem St., Malden, MA 

Funeral services will be held at the Maplewood Baptist Church, 729 Salem St., Malden on  Friday at 11AM, the  Pastor  Gregory Staples will be officiating.  Interment in Forest Dale Cemetery at a later date.
