Junie Dominique Jean Charles
Junie
Dominique Jean Charles died Monday, May 1, 2006 at the Sawtelle Hospice
House, Reading, after a short illness. she was 43. Born on September 4, 1962 in
Haiti, she was the daughter of Marie Anne Immaculee Z. of Haiti and the late
Joseph D. Elysce.
Junie
attended school in Haiti and came to the United States in 1988 at the age of
twenty-six. She first settled in New York, and later moved to the Malden area
were she was employed at the McFadden Manor Nursing Home in Malden as a nurses
aide.
Junie went
on to technician school and became a licensed x-ray technician. After graduation
she worked at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston for ten years
until her illness. Junie was a devoted and loving mother to her three daughters
and family.
She is
survived by her husband Robert Jean Charles of Saugus, her cherished daughters
Jilliana, Hergie and Hernica Jean Charles all of Saugus, her sister Martine
Elysce, her brother's Marcel Elysce and Arscne Elizee all of Haiti. Niece of
Antoine Bijoux of Malden.
Visiting hours will be held in
the Weir~MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., on Friday May 5th.
from 6-9 PM.
Funeral
from the Weir – Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on
Saturday, May 6th. at 7:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial
in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 9 AM. Interment to
follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, MA
