Co. formerly of
Malden, where she had worked
for 8 years, died Thursday, October 19, 2000 at Wentworth
Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, in Lowell, MA Gertrude
was born in Salem, MA and
raised and educated in Melrose.
She was a member
of the First Lutheran Church of Malden, and
was active in the Woman's Guild there.
Her favorite pastime was knitting.
Mrs. Jonsson had been a resident of
Malden since 1940. She
is survived by Harry E. Jonsson (Son), Grace Brandt (Sister), 3
Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry E. Jonsson , her father, Knute Youngdale, and her mother, Gertrude (Anderson), Herbert Youngdale (Brother). She was born November 29, 1908 in Salem, MA Visitation will be held at Weir- MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home on Sunday October 22nd. from 5-8 PM Funeral services will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 11:30 A.M. Rev. Neil Halvorson-Taylor will be officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. |
