Eileen Marie Kelly

     Eileen M. (Anderson) Kelly died Saturday, July 8, 2006 at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center in Revere, she was 78.  Born on November 22, 1927 in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Gustav and Mary (Stevenson) Anderson.  Eileen was raised in East Boston and a graduate from East Boston High School with the Class of 1945.  A couple years later, she married her sweetheart, Edward J. Kelly, and the two shared over 50 years in marriage together, raising and caring for their family.  For many years, Eileen worked as a sales clerk at Almy's, which had been located in the Northgate Shopping Plaza in Revere.  Eileen was also a faithful member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Malden.  Taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest pastime, although she did enjoy traveling around the globe with her husband.  Mrs. Kelly had been a resident of Malden for the past 43 years. 

     She is survived by her husband Edward J. Kelly of Malden, her daughters, Kathleen A. and her husband, Paul E. Lombard of Virginia Beach, VA, Patricia and her husband, Henry L. Cornoni of Malden, MA, Eileen F. Kelly of Everett, and Noreen A. and her husband, James M. Bartolo of Melrose as well as five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Thomas and Doris Anderson.

     Funeral from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home 144 Salem St. Malden on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St. Malden at 9 AM.  Rev. Richard T. Bakker of St. Joseph's Church will be the celebrant.  Burial will immediately follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Monday, July 10, 2006 from 4-8 PM.
