Dorothy Gertrude King Dorothy
Gertrude King, 76, died Tuesday, December 26, 2000 at Tuell Nursing Home in
Melrose, Massachusetts. Dorothy was born in Everett and educated in Malden schools
attending Cheverus grade schools and graduating from Malden High School. She had
been a life long resident of Malden and a member of Sacred Heart Parish.
Mrs. King lived in Malden, Massachusetts for 40 years and was previously
from Everett. She
is survived by her husband, Howard
J. King, Sr. of Malden, her sons; Howard J. King, Jr. of Melrose and
Robert King of Haverhill. His sister, Frances Generas of Somerville,
her brother, Donald O'Connell of CA, her sister, Gertrude Jones of
Chelsea, her brother, John O'Connell of
Lynn, her brother, Leo O'Connell of
Chelsea, her sister, Agnes Franson
of Saugus and her sister Alice La Rose of Chelsea. She
was preceded in death by her brother, Warren O'Connell of VA and her sister
Margaret Webber of Chelsea. She
was born January 11, 1924 in Everett, Massachusetts the daughter of the late
Thomas and Florence (Lorgoree) O'Connell.
Visitation
will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on Tuesday,
Jan. 2nd from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM Funeral
from the Weir - Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on
Weds., Jan. 3rd at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial
at Sacred Heart Church, 297 Main St., Malden at 11AM with the Rev.
Francis E. Sullivan of Sacred
Hearts Church officiating. Burial
will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
