Howard John King, Sr.

Howard John King, Sr.,  79, a retired senior manufacturing engineer for CTI Cryogenics, where he worked for 20 years, died Saturday, January 27, 2001 at the  Mass General Hospital in Boston.  Howard was born December 12, 1921 in Revere, Massachusetts the son of Alfred and Anna (O'Donnell) King, Sr.  He was a graduate of Revere HS, Class of 1939.  After his retirement, he worked as an Engineering Consultant, where he oversaw the training of less experienced engineers.

He was a member of the Sacred Hearts Church in Malden for many years. 

Howards pastimes included golfing and swimming, he was an avid woodcarver, bu what was most  important  to him was his family.  

Mr. King, Sr. lived in Malden, Massachusetts for 40 Years and was previously from Everett.

He is survived by sons Howard J. King, Jr.  of Melrose and Robert J. King  of Haverhill.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy G. (O'Connell)King,  his father Alfred King, Sr., and his mother Anna (O'Donnell) King.

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, MA on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM

Funeral services will be from the Weir Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street Malden on Wednesday, January 31st at 10 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Hearts Church 297 Main Street Malden at 11 AM with the Rev. Francis  E. Sullivan  of Sacred Heart Parish  officiating.  Burial will be in the Woodlawn Crematory in Everett.
