Robert Edward Kisich
Robert E. Kisich, 70, a
longtime resident of Malden, passed away in Saugus, surrounded by his loving
family. Robert was born and raised in Somerville. At the age of 18, Robert
enlisted in the US Army and
served
stateside during the Vietnam Era, stationed in Ft. Hood, Texas. After completing his service to the country, he returned
to Somerville and began his career as an auto body technician. Robert
appreciated the value of hard work and only recently retired from White's Auto
Body in Everett, because of his health.
Robert was a dedicated member
of the American Legion Post #69 in Malden, where he served on their Honor
Guard. He was also an avid military buff, and enjoyed documentaries and
stories of past military battles. Robert had lived in Malden for over 30 years,
after living in Somerville.
He is survived by his wife
Nancy E.(Greely) of Malden, MA, his
daughter, Nancy A. Markowski of Saugus, his sons, Robert J. Kisich of
Malden, and Christopher G. Kisich of CA,
his brother, William Kisich of Somerville, and his grandchildren, Joseph
Markowski, Maia Kisich, and Eric Kisich, as well as many nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, Nickolas and Anna (Kelez) Kisich, his brothers, John Kisich,
George Kisich, and Frank Kisich, and his sister, Sister Magdeline Joseph.
Visitation will be held at
Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, on Sunday, July 2nd
from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM

Funeral services will be held
from the funeral home on Monday, July 3, 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of
Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in Sacred Hearts Church, Malden. Fr. Daniel J.
Hickey of Sacred Hearts Church will be officiating. Interment will be follow
in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
