Irene Frances Knight Irene Frances Knight,
84, a switchboard operator
for Colonial Theater, where she worked for 15 years, died Sunday, September 29,
2002 at Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Medford, Massachusetts.
Born & educated in Jamiica Plain section of Boston. Worked in the
Colonial Theater in Boston for 15 years. She left the theater and married and
became a mother. Her family moved
to Malden in 1964. She had been a resident of Malden for the last 36 years.
Mrs. Knight lived in Malden, Massachusetts for 36 years and was
previously from Jamaica Plain section of. She is survived by her son Phillip J. Knight of Malden, her
daughter Renee M. Elgamal
(daughter) of Malden, her son Edward T. Knight of Everett, and her son Daniel P.
Knight. She is also survived by 9
grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, her
parents, Frank and
Margaret (Cronan) Ago. A memorial service will be held on Wed., Oct 2nd, at 10:00
AM at the Maplewood Baptist Churh, 729 Salem Street, Malden, MA 02148 |
