Mati Luka Kosta

 

Mati Luka Kosta, 87, a retired Platform Supervisor for the Railway Express Co.  of Boston, where he worked for 30 years, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at Dexter House Nursing Home in Malden, MA after a short illness.   Mr. Kosta had lived in Malden, MA for the last  40 years and was previously from the West end of Boston for 11 years and a native of Treska, Albania. Mati was educated in Albania, and came to this country when he was a teenager. Mr. Kosta retired from Railway Express in 1979.  Mati was a very devoted husband and loving fathers to his sons and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Mary (Dimitri) Kosta, his three sons, Christy L. Kosta of Malden, Stephen J. Kosta of   Taunton, Edward M. Kosta of Reading and four grandchildren, Eric Kosta, Adam Kosta, Alexander Kosta and  Angela Kosta.

He was born October 15, 1913 in Treska, Albania.

Visitation will be held at the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden, on Sunday from 4-8  PM.

Funeral  services  will be held at the Pilgrim Congregational Church, 45  Broadway,  Taunton, MA on Monday, May 7, 2001 at 11:00 A.M.    The Rev. Frederick Elder and Rev. Michael Robertson  will be officiating. Interment to follow in  Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton,  MA
