Jason Michael La Valle

Jason Michael La Valle,  22,  died suddenly as a result of a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, August 27, 2002 in  Sandwich, MA. Jason was born in Malden and started his education in Somerville. He moved to Malden at the age of twelve and was active in the Malden Middle School Wrestling Team. He went on to the North East Regional Vocational School in Wakefield where he studied auto body repair, graduating in 1999. When he graduated he went to work in the construction industry as a mason and general contractor. He had just become an apprentice, August 1st, in the Sheet Metal Worker's Union and was looking forward to learning the trade. He was and avid outdoors person enjoying snowboarding, scuba diving and motorcycling.  Mr. La Valle lived in Malden, MA for the past ten years and was previously from Somerville.

He was the son of Dorothy, E. & Robert L. Busi of Malden and Richard D. La Valle of CA. The brother of David A. La Valle of Malden, the maternal grandson of former Malden Firefighter, Arthur & Barbara Schulze of NH, the paternal grandson of Richard E. La Valle of Somerville and Florence Champney of NH,  the step grandson of Louis & Barbara Busi of Somerville, the nephew of Frank & Carol Curtis of FL, Alfred & Nancy Mancino of Medford and Anthony & Joni Julianello of NH.

He was born June 29, 1980 in Malden, Massachusetts the son of Richard D. and Dorothy E. (Schulze) La Valle.     

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on Friday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM

Contributions in Jason’s memory may be made to the N.E. Home for Little Wanderers/ Development Dept. , 161 So. Huntington Ave., Boston MA 02115 

Funeral services will be held from the Weir – Mac Cuish  Funeral Home on Saturday, August 31, 2002 at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul's Episcopal  Parish, 26 Washington St., Malden at 10:00 AM. with Father  J.C. Woods of St. Paul's Episcopal Parish officiating.  Cremation will be in the Woodlawn Crematory in Everett.
