Eva Lilly Larson
Eva L. Larson, of Malden died Monday morning, April 17, 2006 at the Wingate at Andover, in Andover, MA, she was 101. Born on February 18, 1905 in Nybro, Sweden, she was the daughter of the late Per Carlson and Mitilda Person Carlson. Eva was educated in Nybro, Sweden and came to the United States with her sister at the age of sixteen. She resided for a brief period in Cambridge before settling in Malden in 1923. She was employed as a domestic and a hairdresser in the greater Boston area until her retirement. She was a long time member of the First Lutheran Church of Malden. Mrs. Larson lived in Malden for seventy-seven years. She is survived by her daughter E. Barbara Mc Leod and her husband Fred of Wakefield, her grandchildren Stephen Mc Leod and his wife Carolyn of Chelmsford and Debra Rillihan of Andover, she is also survived by six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband T. Evald Larson. Visitation will be held at the Weir ~ MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Wednesday from 10-12 noon. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at 12 noon at the funeral home. Rev. Angela Freeman of First Lutheran Church of Malden will be officiating. Burial will be in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
