Mildred Levenson

Mildred  Levenson,  88, a retired seamstress for Gordon Clothes Manufacturing, died Monday, May 07, 2001 at Dexter  House Nursing Home in Malden.  Mildred was born in Somerville in 1913, and moved to Malden at the age of 11. She was educated in the Malden school systems, and attended Malden High School.   She worked as a  seamstress and a fitter for 26 years in the Gordons.  She also worked at Converse Rubber in Malden and Wilmington, retiring in 1977. 

She is survived by her sister  Mildred Fowler  of Billerica, and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her father Harry, and her mother Frances (Mahaffa)  Levenson, and also her brother Albert A. Levenson, .

She was born January 01, 1913 in Somerville, Massachusetts the daughter of Harry and Frances (Mahaffa) Levenson.     

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 10, 2001 at 10:00 A.M. at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home. Rev. Duke Grey of First Parish Universalist will be officiating.  Burial will be in the Billerica Cemetery in Billerica.

Donations in Mildred's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
