Norma Grace Lever

Norma Grace Lever,  75, died Friday, August 30, 2002 at  the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA after a lengthily illness..  Norma was born in Lynn and educated in Malden Schools. When she completed school she met her husband Fred and married and raised her family. While her children were in school she worked at Santoro's Sub Shop on Main St. in Malden for several years. She then went to work for Warner Cable of Medford as a cable technician where she was employed for over ten years until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of the Centre United Methodist Church of Malden.  Mrs. Lever lived in Malden, MAfor the past fifty six years.

She is survived by her husband,  Frederick A. Lever of Malden, her sons; John A Lever of FL, Paul E. Lever of Lynnfield, Ernest R. Lever of Malden and Edward H. Lever of Malden, her brother, Fred A. Choate of Tyngsboro and her sister Edith Choate  of Malden, MA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles M. Choate of FL.

She was born December 5, 1926 in Lynn, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Harry and Lillian (Bell) Choate.     

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Monday Sept. 2nd from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM

Contributions in Norma’s memory may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-4688

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. at the Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, MA with the Rev. James Cox of the Centre United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will be in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
