Leon H. Lincoln Jr.
Leon H. Lincoln Jr. passed away on June 14th after a lengthy illness. He was 61. Mr. Lincoln lived in Malden all his life.
He was educated in the Malden school systems, and in 1959 he graduated from the Malden Vocational High School,. After graduating he joined the Marine Corps. He served from 1959 to
1965, during the time of the Vietnam War.
After being discharged from the marines Mr. Lincoln returned to the Malden
area, and drove a truck for many years. In 1984 he married his wife Donna
M Hewitt, and the two shared the next 18 years together, raising their
daughter Katherine. After leaving the trucking business, he went opn
to become a constable for the cities of Malden and Medford.
Leon was also a lifetime member of the VFW of Malden Post 639.

Lincoln was the son of the late Leon H. Lincoln Sr. and the late Florence (Johnson) Lincoln. He was also the brother of the late Robert Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at the Weir- MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Tuesday, at 10:00
AM, with pastor Jim Todd of the Center United Methodist Church
Officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Dale Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
