Alfred Martin Loeser

Alfred Martin Loeser, of Florida, formerly of Melrose & Malden,  died Wednesday, March 03, 2004 at Cape Canaveral  Hospital in West Coco Beach, Florida.  Alfred was born in Malden, and raised and educated in Melrose.  At an early age he returned to Malden and became a founding member of the Malden German Club.   He was employed as  warehouseman for A&P Tea Co for over forty three years until his retirement in 1972. Alfred has now lived in Melrose over forty years, until retiring to Florida 10 years ago.  Mr. Loeser lived in Merritt Island, Florida for 10 years and was previously from Malden, 53 years.

He is survived by  his daughter  Claire A. Baleyko  of Fl, his son  David G. Loeser, Nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy A., his father George  H. Loeser, his mother Helene  C. Schmidt, and his son Barry M. Loeser, his sister Ella M. Loeser, and his brothers George  and Rudolph Loeser . 

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Sunday, March 7th, from  7-9 PM. 

Donations in Al's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham MA 01701 9376 

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 8, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home.   Burial will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.
