Corinne Margaret Lynch

Corinne M. (Hubbard) Lynch, 82, died suddenly on Friday February 25, 2005.  Corinne was born in Malden and educated in the Immaculate Conception school and a graduate of Girls Catholic High School in Malden, Class of 1940. She was a long time communicant and former volunteer of the Immaculate Conception Parish.

She would later marry her sweetheart Eugene F. Lynch Jr. on February 19, 1944 in the Immaculate Conception Parish.  The couple would settle in Malden and eventually moved to their homestead on Julia St., in Malden, where the couple would raise their six sons and daughter.  Corinne and Eugene were married for 45 years until Eugene passed away 16 years ago.

Corinne worked nights as a postal clerk at the South Boston Postal Annex for over fifteen years until she had to leave because of disability. She was an avid bingo player who enjoyed the game but mostly the company of friends. She loved  traveling with family and friends and spending time out wining and dining. Corinne and her  husband  loved following the New England Patriots  and the Boston College  Football games, often traveling to games in the area.

Corinne is survived by her daughter, Mary L. Blackstone of Braintree, her sons  Eugene F. Lynch III of Everett, Dennis J. and Edward J.  Lynch both of Malden, John D. Lynch of Lynnfield, James A. Lynch of Bedford, NH, her loving sister Leona Reilly of Malden and her cherished thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Lynch Jr. and her parents John O. Hubbard and Maryann L. LeBlanc, her brother Lawrence Hubbard formerly of Yarmouth Port and her sister Evelyn Smith formerly of Malden.

Friends and relatives are invited to visiting hours at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 1st. from 4-8PM.

Contributions in Corinne’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA  01701-4688.

Funeral from the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on Wednesday, March 2nd. at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Parish, 600  Pleasant St, Malden at 9AM. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
