Margaret E. Wells- Maher
Margaret E. Wells-Maher, 76, lifelong resident of Malden, died Thursday, October 31,
2002 at her home. Margaret was born
and educated in Malden, graduating from Malden High School.
She was employed at Mal's Supermarket as a meat wrapper for over 10
years. She then took employment
with Sylvania GTE in Lynn, and worked there as an inspector for over 20 years,
until her retirement in 1988. She
was a longtime member of Sacred Hearts Church in Malden, and was also a member
of the Emblem club of the Malden Elks.
She is survived by her daughters
Charlene F. Shepard of
Malden, Margaret M. Novis of Chelmsford,
Pamela J. Hunt of Wilmington, MA, Patricia A. Brady
of Malden, Geraldine R. Carbone of Medford,
her brother Robert J. Warner of Malden, her sister Shirley A. Fraser
of Arlington, 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester E. Wells,
her parents Earl E. and
Charlotte A. (O'Connor) Warner
and her son Robert S. Wells.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 4, 2002 at
9:00 A.M. at Sacred Hearts Church. Fr. Daniel J. Hickey of Sacred Hearts
Church will be officiating. Burial
will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.
Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4
PM and 7-9 PM
